As Face Values alluded to the psychic residue of a persona hidden beneath clothes and skin, I am fascinated by how we dress (and otherwise decorate our bodies) to invite or deter certain people as we navigate socially. From gang colors to business cards, we all have a way of telling the world who we are and what we are about, but the opulence of our intended “status” leaves me wondering about how well we codify our own bodies and minds for mass consumption… to survive another day in the hustle.
